New York Jet Quinnen Williams will be arraigned March 25 on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly having a handgun with him at LaGuardia Airport, according to the Queens DA’s Office.

Williams, 22, was arrested Thursday night when the defensive lineman tried to board a plane while in possession of a Glock 19, for which he has a permit in Alabama but not in New York, New York/New Jersey Port Authority police said.

The semi-automatic pistol, which was discovered about 9:15 p.m. at a Delta check-in counter, was not loaded, police spokeswoman Lenis Rodriguez told CNN.

Williams’ attorney Alex Spiro said in a statement: “Mr. Williams respects and follows the law. There was allegedly a technical issue with the manner in which the lawfully owned firearm was stored — and we expect the matter to be resolved shortly.”

A Jets team spokesperson told The Post: “We have been in contact with Quinnen Williams and are fully aware of the situation. We will have no additional comment as this is a pending legal matter.”

The 6-foot-3, 303-pound Williams was drafted with the No. 3 overall pick last year out of the University of Alabama.

As a rookie, he played in 13 games, including nine starts, and had 15 tackles with 2½ sacks and a fumble recovery.
